YUMMY CAKES BY MIA

I am Shamia Austin, owner and baker of Yummy Cakes by Mia. In 2011, after enduring a devastating loss, I went into the kitchen, whipped out my barely used Kitchen Aid mixer, along with a few ingredients to begin creating my very first batch of cupcakes. Before experimenting with scratch made cupcakes, I baked cakes and pound cakes for friends and family several years prior. Baking is not just work for me, it's my joy and my peace.
